Nene Kraneveldt, CEO at Imagination FX

Nene is a passionate leadership coach who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the projects and research she undertakes. A member of the Hupacasath Nation, Nene has worked with First Nations, Indigenous organizations, and federal and provincial governments for more than 20 years. Nene holds a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University and has extensive counseling experience, including working with survivors of trauma. As a lifelong learner she continues to build knowledge through continued academic pursuits and practical research opportunities. She has committed her entire professional career to improving social, community, and economic conditions for aboriginal people in British Columbia and Canada.

Jim Kraneveldt, Multimedia & Creative Director at Imagination FX

Jim is the creative engineer and producer at Imagination FX. He holds a degree in Child and Youth Care, a diploma in Photography and a BC Security License. He’s had the privilege of working with elders and youth on a multitude of language preservation projects, has recorded historic events for archival purposes and has also project managed a wide range of cultural events. Jim leads with his heart and is a natural connector and relationship builder.

Taylor Smith, Videographer at Imagination FX

Taylor is of Metis descent and was born and raised in Port Alberni. He graduated with a Diploma in Broadcasting from Mount Royal University and works as a full-time Videographer, Photographer and Editor. With years of experience in the outdoor industry, his work can be seen on major television networks such as the Outdoor Channel, WILD TV and APTN. His passion for documentary filmmaking and capturing stories through visuals has made him an incredible addition to the Imagination FX video production crew.

Leah May, Executive Assistant at Imagination FX

Leah was born and raised on Coast Salish lands in the Fraser Valley of BC. She attended Douglas College and the University of Victoria obtaining a Bachelors of Child and Youth Care (CYC), specializing in Indigenous History/Culture, Co-occurring Disorders and Child Protection. She spent time through her school practicum living in Uganda helping youth build employable skills. Her strengths in organization, building connections and relationships and her positive and compassionate outlook have been invaluable to the team at Imagination FX.
